Board Response (Oct 2008)

We have a contract with Comcast that does not allow GGCA to turn off service for individual members in the community. We do receive a 15% discount over the cost of basic service to the general retail market.  This discount more than covers the current impact of delinquent homeowners.  Recently we have requested a meeting with Comcast to discuss a range of concerns including the impact of delinquencies on GGCA.  They have promised to consider our requests and we are waiting an official response to such request.
